Who would have thought it? I didn't see it coming, that much I know. Turns out Meredith Baxter, otherwise known as Meredith Baxter Birney, best known for the role of Alex Keaton's (Michael J. Fox) mom on the 1980's sitcom, Family Ties, has announced she is a lesbian. That at the ripe old age of 62!  Yes, the lovely Meredith told the world that she is a late-bloomer lesbian, having discovered the wonders of same sex relationships about 7 years ago.
