My heart goes out to the lovely Jessica Simpson, who has recently lost her dog, a "Malti-Poo" named Daisy, who was grabbed by a coyote and taken away. The horror of that is hard to fathom, unless you have a pet dog that is like a child to you and means more than non-dog owners can understand.
Jessica enlisted the aid of a company that searches for lost pets, and posted signs in her neighborhood hoping someone might find poor Daisy. But...it doesn't sound to likely, it's been about a week now, and no sign of Daisy. Jessica even turned to Twitter for help, posting the following:
“My heart is broken because a coyote took my precious Daisy right in front of our eyes, HORROR! We are searching. Hoping. Please help! "
Daisy was a gift from her old boyfriend Nick Lachey, and of course, like all little dogs do, quickly became a much loved member of Jessica's family. Little dogs are like little children, you cannot help but love them.
Our thoughts are with Jessica as she deals with this heartbreaking life challenge.
