Charisma - What You Need to Be A Celebrity

Female celebrities have it going on. Let's face it, to be beautiful and talented, is a gift you have to be born with. You could argue that talent is acquired, or learned, but for all intents and purposes, to have what it takes to make it big show business you need to be born with some attributes that are difficult to learn. You have to be beautiful or at least reasonalbly attractive enough that a good makeup artist can make you look beautiful on stage or in front of the camera.

Then you have to have talent, or if not talent, charisma, which I think might be the difference that allows some to make it while others, who are just as talented don't. I would argue that some of these celebs are not even all that talented in reality. Lets face it, there are lots of people who can sing, or act, some exceptionally well, but not all of them make it to the top of the celebrity food chain. Many don't, I would argue most don't. The celebrity world is actually quite small compared to other business's.

Charisma, or the gift of having people like you, is extremely important in the entertainment biz. Think about the female celebrities that we talk about here. Most are beautiful, or at least attractive, but they all have charisma. When they get in front of the camera, they can turn it on, and as we look at their pictures we like them, even think we know them in some way. Which of course, we really don't. We know the celebrity side, the public face, that they exhibit to the world. Whether that's Britney Spears or Jessica Simpson, or Jennifer Lopez or whomever, they all have an ability to get our attention and make us like them, or at least take an interest in them, even if we ultimately decide we don't like them.

So, if you are thinking you would like to become a celebrity, and get your own sexy apparel line, or just get to pose on the red carpet in sexy stiletto heel shoes and a beautiful dress, you need to work on your charisma. Learn to smile, and talk with your eyes, and develop a personality that says I like you, so you will like me.....

Jessica Simpson Ballet Flats

I have to admit, I have a tough time seeing what is sexy about the latest shoe styles that are called "ballet flats" There just doesn't seem to be anything sexy about what I think are not much more than little slippers.

Wikipedia says, "ballet flats are derived from a woman's soft ballet slipper, with a very thin heel or the appearance of no heel at all. There is often a ribbon-like binding around the low tops of the slipper and they may have a slight gathering at the top-front of the toe box and a tiny, decorative string tie."

Ballet flats have been around since the 1600's when flat shoes were worn by both men and women. They were replaced by high heels when Catherine de' Medici ordered her cobbler to add two inches to her wedding shoes. However, high heels went out of fashion quickly after Marie Antoinette walked to the guillotine in a pair of heels....

Lately Ballet flats have had a resurgence in popularity, particularly with teenage girls, perhaps because they don't want to wear heels that will make them taller than their teenage boyfriends....I dunno....just a thought....

But....who am I to say, millions of sexy girls wearing them cannot be wrong can they?
